Directions & Parking

From Chapel Hill / Durham, Raleigh or South Raleigh WEST:
Take 40 East to the Person Street/Hammond Street exit (exit 299) and turn left onto Person Street. Follow Person Street into downtown and turn left onto Martin Street.

From North or East Raleigh:
Take the Glenwood Avenue exit off the I-440 Beltline and head South towards downtown. Follow Glenwood Avenue to Peace Street. Take a left onto Peace Street and stay on Peace for about 1 mile. Make a right onto Blount Street after passing Peace College on your left. Follow Blount Street past the Governors Masion and into Moore Square.

Parking:
Parking is available for no charge on the streets and inside City Market. There are metered spaces along Martin Street, but is free after 5pm. There are also two pay-to-park lots: one on Person Street at City Market and one at the corner of Person Street and Hargett Street. Parking garages can be located at Moore Square, Blount Street, Alexander Square and Wilmington Street. All gargaes are currently free after 7pm and more are being built right around the corner from Moore Square. Check back for more information on parking as it come available.
